How to Enjoy your Pregnancy!

During pregnancy there are many things to do. But try to take some time and enjoy your new journey! It really does go by fast!!!

  • Allow others to help: This can be hard to do and it may be the first time for some of you that you actually reach out to others for help. (It was for me!)
  • Pamper yourself: Take a relaxing bath and enjoy some “me” time
  • Look and feel your best… join a prenatal yoga group! If you’re in the Las Vegas area make sure you follow @prenatalyogalasvegas on instagram 🙂
  • Buy a couple cute maternity outfits: There are lots of places to buy maternity clothing. Amazon was one of my favorite places to buy maternity dresses and bras! (This dress is super cute and I LOVE the pockets! I also LOVED these Nursing Bras!!! They are super comfortable!!)
  • Take maternity photos. We purchased a nice camera a while ago (for my YouTube videos). My hunny took me to Red Rock and we did our own maternity photos. I bought my dress from Amazon. This is the dress I bought in dark green!
  • Get a prenatal massage, facial, or mani/pedi!!
  • Eat healthy and eat foods that are safe to eat during your pregnancy.
  • Stay well educated: Read about baby’s growth during pregnancy with this classic pregnancy book….
  • Take Childbirth, Baby Basics, Breastfeeding, and Infant CPR Classes… And if you aren’t able to make it to any check out my YOUTUBE CHANNEL for FREE education!!!!
  • Watch out for social media and “new trends” (Anyone can put anything online! Be careful where you are getting your information. Make sure you are depending on someone who is educated on this topic! Like a Nurse or Physician)!
  • Make sure you take your Prenatal Vitamins! My Favorite Prenatal Vitamins are Dr. Stockwell’s Prenatals! They are in a powder form that you mix with a drink! Check out this video with more information about these Prenatals! And get yours today…..

  • Don’t overwhelm yourself and become anxious: Pregnancy can be very scary! Make sure to ask many questions at your doctor’s appointments to help ease your mind a little!
  • Make sure you ask a reliable source if you have questions about something!! I have been a Registered Nurse for 10 years now, with 8 years in the field of Antepartum and Labor & Delivery Care!   • Make new pregnant friends: at Yoga classes or at your Doctor’s office… or even join social media pregnancy groups!
  • Watch with 3D/4D Ultrasounds: If you are in the Las Vegas/Henderson area you should definitely check out @Sneakababypeek / sneakababypeek.com They have such a cute location and work great with your schedule!!
  • Get off the scale and focus on your goal of growing a healthy baby: Don’t worry about every pound! Remember you are growing a tiny human!! 🙂 At the end of the day we always want a healthy pregnancy for both…. MOM & BABY
